OUR STORY
Hi! My name is Cassandra and I have always had a sweet tooth. I have early memories of baking with my grandmother, the most prolific and talented home baker I've ever known, and I soon started to explore baking on my own as a teenager. The cupcake craze was in full swing when I was 16, so that's where I started. Soon I was experimenting with microwaveable mug cakes for a quick and easy after dinner dessert or making a single cookie.

I love the whole baking process, from recipe formulation and testing, to baking, to decorating, and, of course, eating. I created Whisk It in 2016 so I could get creative and take the baking process into my own hands.
Flavour, quality, and creativity are of the utmost importance to me. I love coming up withdifferent flavour pairings, and combining that with high quality ingredients and recipes tested to perfection.

As a graduate of George Brown's competitive Baking and Pastry Arts Management program, I have experience preparing a variety of high quality baked goods in a professional setting. I worked as the only baker for GB Catering at Canadian Adventure Camp during the summer - a challenging but rewarding job cranking out more loaves of bread than I believed humanly possible! After graduation, I began working at Bake Sale, a small bakery in Etobicoke honing my skills, while developing my signature recipes and decorating style in my spare time.

I currently operate out of my home kitchen but have aims to expand in the near future. I pride myself on maintaining client satisfaction by bringing their unique visions to life.
